Withthe rapid development of digital economy, algorithm has been embedded into the deep layer of social operation mechanism and has become a necessary tool for the efficient operation of modern social system. It now makes great contribution to economic growth, consumption increase and employment promotion. However, at the same time, algorithm-related challenges and doubts such as invasion of consumer’s life, limitation inflicted on deliverymen and lack of humanistic care have also been raised.
This project conducts a research from aspects of society and application of algorithm to food delivery, proposing optimization and governance methods for the food delivery algorithm. At the same time, it makes a deep exploration of the ethical issues and social governance in the process of algorithm’s integration into the society.
