In recent years, the rapid-developing AI technology has brought profound changes to people’s life and the world as well. Such issues have aroused great concern in society as those concerning coordinating the relationship between the development and governance of AI through scientific, effective and appropriate regulation, establishing an AI technology innovation ecosystem suitable for innovation subjects such as enterprises, ensuring the safety, controllability and reliability of AI technology and promoting the sustainable development of economy, society and ecology.
In this context, this project: introducesthe goals and challenges regarding AI governance;establishesan AI governance framework; conducts acase analysis of AI governance based on different application scenarios; and finally makes policy recommendations on the implementation and framework of AI governance. From the perspectives of government orientation, enterprise/industry orientation and the public orientation, this project makes policy recommendations which are coordinated with AI governance framework and in line with the pace of industrial development in a comprehensive and targeted manner, thus assisting governments and enterprises in formulating and promoting AI governance strategy in the next phase.
