ZENG Xiong worked as an intern in Ministry of Commerce, worked as a lawyer in Beijing Zhonglun Law Firm and worked as a regulation policy researcher in Tencent and Meituan.
Now ZENG Xiong is a postdoctoral fellow in School of Public Policy & Management, Tsinghua University.

ZENG Xiong has published several academic papers in journals including Research of Finance and Economic Issues, Internet Law Review, Tribune of Economic Law, etc.
In 2020, ZENG Xiong andhisco-author Wei Han who is an associate professor from University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences won the Concurrences 2020 Antitrust Writing Awards, and their article was the Best Antitrust Academic Articles in Asian Antitrust Category.
