On the morning of October 13, 2025, a Brazilian education delegation led by Mr. Guilherme Rodrigues Alves, CEO of Explore Learning, visited the Institute for AI International Governance (I-AIIG) at Tsinghua University. The delegation included representatives from education, investment, technology, and social innovation.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Liang Zheng, Vice Dean of I-AIIG, and attended by Chinese participants, including Wang Shuaiguo, CEO of the XuetangX MOOC platform, along with the research team from I-AIIG.
In his welcome remarks, Professor Liang extended his appreciation to the delegation and introduced I-AIIG’s mission and research focus. “This visit provides a valuable opportunity for China and Brazil to strengthen collaboration in AI development, educational innovation, and governance,” said Professor Liang. “We look forward to building a more inclusive and sustainable AI ecosystem together.”
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on AI-powered education and youth talent development, applications and challenges of AI in the education sector, data security, and personalized learning models. Participants agreed that AI is profoundly reshaping education systems and learning models, and that international cooperation is essential in ensuring fairness, safety, and sustainable development in the use of AI for education.
