Ambassador-Chargé d’Affaires Shen commended the delegation’s work, stating: “We highly appreciate Tsinghua University’s contributions to AI governance research. We hope academic think tanks will continue to apply their expertise, participate in international dialogue and cooperation, and contribute Chinese wisdom to global science and technology governance.”
Professor Xue expressed his gratitude on behalf of I-AIIG: “We are deeply grateful to the PRC Permanent Mission in Geneva for their long-standing guidance and support. I-AIIG will continue to deepen research in global AI governance, strengthen collaboration with international organisations, and cultivate high-calibre professionals to support China’s science and technology development strategy.”
While in Geneva, the I-AIIG delegation also participated in several international academic events, exchanging views on AI technological advancements and governance challenges with global experts.
