
WANG Jingyu received his Ph.D. in World Economy from Wuhan University in December 2023.
He obtained his Master’s degree in International Economics and Trade from Sorbonne University (Paris) in 2018, and his Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature from the Renmin University of China in 2016.
He is currently a Shuimu Postdoctoral Fellow at Tsinghua University and an Assistant Researcher at the Institute for AI International Governance, Tsinghua University.
Dr. Wang has served as Principal Investigator of projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China (Youth Program) and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (General Program). He has also participated in several national-level major research initiatives, including the Science and Technology Innovation 2030 – Major Project and Major Projects of the National Social Science Fund of China.
His research outcomes have received letters of appreciation from governmental bodies such as the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China for supporting AI-related policy work. His academic papers have been published in leading CSSCI-indexed journals, including Contemporary Asia-Pacific, Contemporary International Relations, and American Studies. Several of his articles have been fully reprinted by Xinhua Digest and Renmin University Reprints of Newspapers and Periodicals.
