He graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a degree in Management Science and Engineering and used to be a visiting scholar at Virginia Polytechnic and State University. Dr. Zhang participated in the drafting of numerous artificial intelligence related works, including the Guidance for Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Real Economy by the General Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Three-year Action Plan for Promoting the Development of New Generation Artificial Intelligence Industry (2018-2020) by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and many others in cities such as Shanghai, Chongqing, Jiangsu, and Anhui. Dr. Zhang has written many monographs, papers and industry research reports over artificial intelligence, covering the development of the industry, voice, image, AR/VR, open source algorithms, manufacturing applications, employment, talents, education and training, etc.
